Mauser Rifle M 1935 and M 1889/36 short rifle. s# 2968 Minty dark blued former Gras T -back blade with former Gras maker’s inscriptions on the blade spine. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard with bushed muzzle ring MRD 15.4 mm. Grossguard is very crisp marked with an inspection mark, a serial number and a regimental marking :2968.3Ch.A (=3 Regiment Chasseurs Ardennais/3 Regiment Ardense Jagers). Excellent wooden grips. Excellent and correct modified blued metal Gras scabbard with oval frog stud with no dents. (ABCN109 2b)
